Our new brand represents a key milestone in our journey to commercialise.

Why we rebranded

Over time we have been researching, developing, building, testing, perfecting and pushing boundaries to create a unique technology in electric vehicle charging. The result is transformational, our brand needed to represent this shift from ‘research’ to ‘ready’.

Our old branding served us well during our R&D phase, its night time and space theme aligned well with exploration. An ambiguous astronaut simply represented all the Petalite people who helped us on our journey. We are now moving into a new phase; our potential customer base is defined and it’s clear how our technology could revolutionise electric charging.

Our brand agency Curious dug deep to understand the core of what makes our company tick. They helped us articulate an evolved purpose, mission, visual identity and employee value proposition that is authentic and unique to us.

Our purpose and mission

Our purpose is distilled in two words: Freedom. Engineered.

We recognise we have a part to play in improving public EV charging infrastructure. Providing technology that is regarded as critical infrastructure, that helps accelerate the world’s transition to net-zero. Technology that provides the freedom that comes with reliability for both CPOs and EV drivers.

We are an engineering company first and foremost. Progress never stops. Our technology will keep evolving, as we continuously reimagine the possibilities of electric charging. These 2 core strands represent our purpose.

This is reflected in our new visual identity encompassing the themes of freedom and the beauty of engineered technical solutions.
